Tribal Feather began with one design and became two pieces that belong together.

The same warm feather motif appears in both the earrings and the large hair clip, connecting them without making the set feel overly matched. Coral-red, golden tones, engraved lines, and natural wood bring warmth to the design, while the layered construction gives the feather real dimension instead of the flat appearance of a printed decoration.

The earrings begin with a 1.5 mm American linden wood base. Each feather is cut and engraved separately, painted by hand, and attached on top to create the raised detail you see from the front. The decorative feather design is on the front side of the earrings only.

At approximately 2 inches including the hook, they have enough presence to stand out beside the larger hair accessory while the slim wooden construction keeps them lightweight. Hypoallergenic bronze-tone hooks add another practical detail for ears that may be sensitive to some metals.

The matching hair accessory starts with a large 5-inch black clap-style clip, but the part that gives it its character is handmade in wood. A custom American linden base is laser-cut and engraved, then topped with a separately cut, engraved, and hand-painted feather. The layers give the center of the clip dimension and connect it visually to the earrings.

The wooden components are finished with linseed oil to help protect the material while allowing the grain, engraved marks, and handmade surface to remain visible.

Wear the two pieces together when you want the feather motif to carry through your whole look, or separate them when you want only one small handmade detail. Either way, they were created as companions—not two unrelated accessories placed in the same set.

Outfit idea: Pair the set with a warm ivory blouse, dark straight-leg denim, and cognac or tan shoes. The lighter top gives the black hair clip contrast while letting the coral-red, gold, and natural wood tones stand out. For a stronger look, a simple black top works beautifully too and lets the wooden details become the focus.
