Crimson Roots – Embroidered Wooden Earrings

Crimson Roots began with a combination I kept coming back to: warm natural wood, deep wine-red thread, and smoky gray.

I wanted the embroidery to feel as though it belonged to the wood rather than simply sitting on top of it. Each section is stitched by hand, slowly building texture across the surface and leaving behind the tiny differences that remind you that another pair will never be exactly the same.

There is something grounded about this pair. The deeper colors give them presence, but the lightweight wood keeps them comfortable enough to wear without that heavy pull so many statement earrings have.

And that is part of what I want my earrings to be: something special enough to catch your eye, but comfortable and personal enough to become something you actually reach for.

Outfit idea: Pair them with an olive sweater and relaxed linen trousers for an earthy everyday look, or let the wine-red embroidery stand out against a soft oatmeal top and dark denim.
