Approx. 2 inches including hook | 2 mm American linden wood | Lightweight | Hypoallergenic silver-tone hooks | Laser-cut | Laser-engraved mandala | Hand-painted | Layered on both sides | Linseed oil finish
Mystic Mandala Bloom began with a contrast I loved: something structured holding something intricate.
I laser-cut the gray geometric base from 2 mm American linden wood, leaving open spaces that keep the shape light and airy. Then I create the magenta mandala separately—a second piece of wood that is laser-engraved, painted by hand, and carefully layered onto the center.
That extra layer changes the entire earring.
Instead of a flat pattern sitting on the surface, the mandala has its own shape, texture, and slight dimension. The engraved floral details catch the eye first, while the quieter gray geometry frames them without competing for attention.
And I didn’t want that dimension to disappear the moment the earrings turned.
The same layered mandala construction is added to both sides, so whether you see them from the front, back, or somewhere in between as they move, the magenta bloom remains part of the design. There is no plain unfinished side waiting to appear.
At approximately 2 inches including the hook, Mystic Mandala Bloom has enough presence to stand out without becoming oversized. American linden wood keeps the layered construction lightweight, giving you the depth and character of a more substantial statement earring without relying on heavy materials.
Hypoallergenic silver-tone hooks provide a more comfortable option for ears that may be sensitive to some metals.
Once each piece is assembled and painted, I finish the wood with linseed oil to help protect the surface while preserving the engraved details, natural wood character, and subtle variations that come with making each pair by hand.
What I like about Mystic Mandala Bloom is the balance: clean lines surrounding something almost floral and meditative. Neither part would feel quite the same without the other.
Outfit idea: Pair them with a muted olive or deep moss top, dark denim, and simple silver-tone accessories. The earthy green gives the magenta mandala an unexpected contrast while letting the gray base remain neutral. For a more understated look, try a soft black linen top with warm stone or taupe trousers.
Natural wood grain, engraved marks, and small variations in the hand-painted finish are part of the handmade character of each pair. Colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.
