Approx. 3 inches including hook | 2 mm American linden wood | Hypoallergenic bronze-tone hooks | Laser-cut & engraved on both sides | Hand-painted details | Protected with linseed oil | Lightweight
Sunset Honey Bee feels like one of those quiet moments in nature you want to carry with you—the warmth of wood, the shape of a sunflower, and a little bee resting right in the middle of it all.
The bee and sunflower design is laser-engraved directly into the American linden wood on both sides. I hand-paint only the areas that are not engraved, allowing the natural wood grain, darker laser marks, and fine engraved details to remain part of the design instead of covering them.
At approximately 3 inches long, these earrings have the presence of a statement piece without the heavy feel that often comes with larger earrings. Their open circular shape keeps them visually bold, but still light and comfortable to wear.
The same design continues on both sides, so when the earrings naturally move or turn, you don’t suddenly see an unfinished back. They were made to look complete from every angle.
And I don’t try to make the wood look perfectly uniform. Small differences in grain, engraving depth, painted areas, and tone are part of what makes each pair feel genuinely handmade.
Outfit idea: Pair them with a medium yellow top, relaxed medium-wash denim, tan or cognac sandals, and simple bronze or antique-gold accessories. The yellow picks up the warm sunflower and honey tones in the earrings, while the denim keeps the look casual and balanced.
Because every piece of wood responds a little differently to engraving, paint, and linseed oil, slight variations in grain and color are natural.
