Enchanted Forest Moon feels like a tiny piece of an imagined woodland carried inside a crescent moon.
Mushrooms, leaves, and small geometric details fill the wooden silhouette in turquoise blue, warm terracotta, cream, and green. The colors bring the little forest scene to life, but the engraved lines underneath are still allowed to show, giving the mushrooms and foliage definition without making the earrings look printed or overly polished.
Each pair begins as American linden wood that I laser-cut and engrave before painting the details by hand. I keep some of the natural character of the wood visible because it belongs in a design inspired by the forest—it shouldn’t disappear beneath the decoration.
The same painted design continues on both sides. So when the crescent turns as you move, you don’t suddenly see an unfinished back. The little woodland scene remains part of the earring from either direction.
At approximately 2 inches including the hook, they have enough color and detail to feel distinctive without needing to be oversized. The lightweight wooden construction also gives you the presence of a statement earring without the uncomfortable pull that can come with heavier jewelry.
Enchanted Forest Moon is playful, a little whimsical, and a little mysterious—but still easy to wear. It’s for someone who likes nature-inspired jewelry that doesn’t look like everything else in the jewelry box.
