Approx. 2 inches including hook | 2 mm American linden wood | Lightweight | Hypoallergenic bronze-tone hooks | Laser-cut & engraved | Hand-painted | Double-sided | Linseed oil finish
There is already so much detail inside the shape of a Hamsa Hand that I didn’t want color to cover it. I wanted color to find its place among the lines.
I laser-cut each earring from 2 mm American linden wood and engrave the small decorative motifs into the surface. Then I paint the soft green base by hand and work red, gold, white, and deeper green into selected details, allowing the engraving and the wood itself to remain part of the design.
Up close, there is a lot to discover.
Small shapes, lines, curves, and touches of color sit inside the familiar Hamsa silhouette. From farther away, they come together as one bold little form; closer in, the individual handmade details begin to show.
I paint and finish the design on both sides.
That matters especially with an earring like this one, where the shape itself is part of its identity. When it turns while you move, you don’t suddenly see a plain back. The color and engraved character continue with it.
At approximately 2 inches including the hook, Mystical Hamsa Hand is noticeable without being oversized. American linden wood keeps the earrings lightweight, giving the detailed silhouette presence without the weight that a similarly intricate metal earring could bring.
Hypoallergenic bronze-tone hooks provide a more comfortable option for ears that may be sensitive to some metals.
Once the painting is finished, I treat the wood with linseed oil to help protect the surface while keeping its natural texture and engraved details visible.
The Hamsa is a symbol with a long history and many personal interpretations. Here, I simply let that familiar shape become the starting point for something handmade, colorful, and a little unexpected.
Outfit idea: Pair them with a soft terracotta or muted clay top, charcoal trousers or dark denim, and simple bronze-tone accessories. The warm earthy color complements the bronze hooks while giving the green base and tiny red, gold, and white details enough contrast to be noticed. For a quieter look, try an ecru blouse with deep brown or charcoal bottoms.
Natural wood grain, engraved marks, and small variations in the hand-painted finish are part of the handmade character of each pair. Colors may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.
